Well, to each their own.
I made over 200 passes last year, and set a VW land speed record for SS1600BB, so, yeah I think I'm racing. Bring your stuff to the start line and we will see who gets the win light.
Anyway, back on topic yesterday I got a few small spots patched up on the body and filled the overrider holes in the front apron. One more section needs replacement by the heater tube and then it will be time to start assembly!

I'd really figured to be on the track by now, but still don't have body back on the chassis. We went to the Tirerack Wednesday and brought back some feet for the 67. The fronts are 145/65 low rolling resistance Continentals and weigh only 12 lbs. Bought 4 195/55 Firestones for the rear. These are "W" speed rated. They meet the spec at the MI Mile, so I got 4 for potential use there next year.
