rAlly Is lookin sweet!!!!!!! but a StageIII is to much pressure plate for ur application and unless u go with a hydrolic set up you gonna keep breaking cables stage 1 and a solid stock disc will hold fine but if u run slicks a more aggressive disc like a Copperhead. the only time I've had ever had a slippage was from a oil soaked disc that i knew i should of tossed in the junk but tried to re-vive with de-natured alcohol and once in the dunes with too much 'Paddle tire' on a 1600,, or too much boost and a stock clutch set up and remember a clutch disc is way cheaper to replace then a Transmi$$ion getting of soap box now

The last set up slipped like a B----- every time I got into the throttle. I like this set up though the clutch cables will probably keep being a PIA. Might go juice cable one day. We shall see. I do like the look of the steelies as well.

So.... update. Repaired the pedal assy (that I broke) with unique-parts.com kit as well as the upgrade for the throttle. Took for a spin yesterday and works great. The clutch is HEAVY in this car and I think the pedal is now up to the task. The throttle works fine but has a detent feel to it. Kinda like you have regular easy travel then there seems to be a detent then you hit full boogie. It feels fine overall, just different. Car ran great overall. I have some of those rubber foot pedal covers on the way that look like feet Also I got some sweet stuart warner vintage gages and Ill be installing them soon. Waiting on a new binnacle that is being machined for the gages. Then when it warms a tad Im going to retune the motor. Also I think because of running it rich for so long I killed the o2 sensor for the fuel ratio gage. Ill fix that as well as soon as I start leaning it out.

I LIKE it!
I noticed the red mark at the top of the steering wheel...is that like what we used to use on the formula cars...something to tell me when I have killed the suspension alignment if it moves anywhere else that up and down? (After all, Ally is a race car now...)

Soooo been a while...... I added an MST serp belt system. Looks awesome and works fine, but a pregnant dog to install. I tried to lean out the idle circuit and it ran too lean so I went back to the originals that run too rich :/ I purchased but have not received a full CB fuel inj. Ill update when the parts get here.

Cb fuel inj guy seem like a real shyster. Should be lucky to even get it and now after doing a search on samba find out he was having a problem with the system shutting down when hot.... Oh joy. Ill figure it out and make it work. Thinking of getting some decklid stand offs to get the heat down a bit. Also fighting a new oil leak, looks like its just the left valve cover so probably no biggie. Ah.... fun fun.

You Know it! CB will be my new besty very soon! Fixed the valve cover leak. Got a tracking # on then FI system so should be in on the 18th but may wait till end of October to install. Got the stand offs on and the hood even has the spring installed so it stays open thanks to a 30 dollar spring extender kit from CIP1 (love those guys ) Over all Ally is running ok. Got my new wheels whatcha think??

CB fuel inj system is in my grubby little hands Mwahahaha. Hey the fuel rails are on the outside.... hmmmmm after some checking I found out that these are the tube buggy ones not the ones made for a full body bug.... figures. Did some talking with CB performance (great guys) and they sell a manifold set just for this situation. So ordered the new manifolds that swap the sides of the TB's and will have another go then. In the meantime and removing the Spanish IDF'S(for sale) and the Naws system (also for sale). then let the plumbing and wiring begin!!!
