Look'in good. Is the last picture how it looks now or is it more further along. Love the deep ruby red color.

It looks like that now. The only thing I have done since then is pull the engine. (It's in my Karmann Ghia at the moment.)

Oops now you did it...........Everyone one this site is itchin for something fun to do and hang out because of winter.
I installed 2 headliners both of them on my Ghia (slight difference from a Beetle) but I game.

I put one in my beige car back in 2004. Has been a while but I bet we can figure it out. Are you doing the multi-piece one or the single piece one? Single is what I did, seemed much easier. Very high quality spray glue and a heat gun are your best friends for this job.

The patch on the front apron looks pretty nice, did you just stitch weld it until the weld was solid? Also the pic of the car in the paint booth is cool, the paint looks like glass. Is the color an original vw color?

My buddy Jim did the welding. He just stitch welded until it was solid.
That is the original color of the car (ruby red). Still had the paint code behind the spare tire.
I got the OEM multi piece headliner. I'll be contacting you guys when I get the headliner and a free weekend. Thanks.

Hey count me in I got to do a headliner on mine and its going to be the multi piece set as well. Id love to help out on a trial run on yours (BOY THAT DOESNT SOUND POSITIVE) I mean I want to help install your headliner with others that know what they are doing so I can use those learned skills to install mine  Are you installing the sound deadner? Im going to on mine. I got a sunroof so mine will be a little more exciting but Im sure its all the same. Anywho keep me in the loop on this. Im excited to get mine done. This is a busy month for me. I'll probably wait until March to tackle the headliner.
PS. Just tracked my parts. Should be here Thursday. I can't wait to see those 5-spokes!
