I just installed a new master cylinder. Between the warmer weather today and the garage heater, it was toasty warm in the garage. What a difference the warmer temps make! makes me nostalgic for Spring.

I ordered some 2.5" rear drop plates for my bug. And I will be going to the garage after the kids go to bed to do compression tests, and valve adjustments (if needed) on my engines to see if I have anything usable, or if I will be doing a complete tear down on one of them.

Yesterday evening I installed the foam carpet padding in the car. Floor pans, tunnel, front firewall, and side kick panels. Worked out well. That pad is one AJ recommended. It is from Menards. Very nice to work with, trims easy. I will eventually add some photos to my project thread.

I changed the oil pan on my GTI. I had a MK4 aluminum pan on it and it cracked from running over a large chunk of ice on my way to work. Now it has a stock steel pan.

I have been on vacation since Nov. 1st and don't go back until March 1st. But I still get up at 4:45 am. each and every morning even the weekends. Honey-do list just keeps getting longer and longer. Even though I work on it most every day. Started Ruffuss and let him run for about 10 mins. then drove him around the block. Thought about putting the top down but didn't. Backed him back into the shed, covered him up and put him back to bed. Later Kenn

Very cool!! But why, if you had it made for you, didn't you get a nice radius bend connector?

My neighbors does me right so I take what I can get and do it with a smile. Besides I think the only thing a radius will do for me is possible make it look better, remember we are dealing with forced air. We are pushing the air through things not trying to pull it.
