Saw a thread like this on the Samba and thought it would be interesting to start on here.
So what did you do for your VW today?

Hahaha I tripped over the new exhaust pipe on the 66 while looking for antisize for the starter bolts for my E150. Never did find it (now on the list of things to get next time I'm at the auto parts store).
Ouch that smarts!!!

I picked up an exhaust flange from my neighbor, He built this thing from scratch by cutting it out with a plasma cutter then grinding it down with a hand held grinder. He has always surprised me by what he can turn out. Next he is building me a custom breather box and intake runner for the other side of the turbo. Check it out

Dave T- I have rear disc on my buggy you could make a pattern off if you want? Jerry- yep a trailer out of rear portion of the thing body I got from Ben from in front of the rear doors to the back and incorperate the hood in the mix, my be have the hood open up to the back(not sure) rear doors and hood open for access and deck lid for secure storage, it is being designed as we speak. Dustin- Although the body I got from Ben is a good canidate for a trailer to much is missing, rusted or dented for a rod build, I'll just keep my eye out for a better project for a rod, After the first of the year I'm looking at another 73 that hids in a barn near Gobles, owners are in Cancun and then Florida until then. Hey Kenn, I have another set of disks on my tub buggy that I might steal and put on the rail. The rail has a set of CNC disks on it now.. So I have a pattern sort of, what I want are some 914 rotors... I saw the write up on Blind Chickens site on how to convert the hubs and cut the centers out of a set of rotors to make what I need... The easy way out is kind of what I'm looking at. Thanks Dave T
