That looks really sharp, Clinton. Do you have any plans to paint/coat those pipes, or are you going for the polished look?

Taylor, I plan on going with an aluminum powered coat, another thing my neighbors can do. Yes, my neighbors are great. They run a business right out of there out building. They work on everthing from chainsaws to buldozers and anything in between. Mike that skate board wheel sounds like a neet trick I will have to remember that one.

I have spent my long weekend building my 1600cc DP Bus engine. Cleaning tons of grease and electrical fire ash sucks. I have completed the short block assembly. watch for pictures in the Bus project when the engine is finished.

Wrestled with the stupid rear tin, which was never drilled for the heat risers by the PO, which explains a lot of the crap idle recently: Seriously, how hard is it to make a stamped piece that fits half-way decently? Then I pulled the engine out I think everybody does this at some point

not in the least, I actually copied it from somebody on thesamba. Theirs was a red bull can that was cut and wrapped under the clamp. Step one, stab 2 holes in the bottom of the can and drain out the coke. Step 2, cut a arge hole around the circumfrence of the bottom of the can that is slightly smaller than the body of a Bosch Blue. Step 3, cut a square in the back of the can that is as wide as the height of the clam and as tall as the width of the clamp. Insert the clamp and rotate so it sits right. Step 4, round down the jagged edge of the bottom of the can and put the coil down in and through the clamp and bolt it back on.

Finally sat down and got the new seals in my popouts. I used hot soapy water and a butter knife, it wasn't that bad.
