You will love the Idiot book. The others are also usefull and I think I have the set allready. The pans look AWSOME cant wait till you attack the body. Glad its going together so well considering what you had to start with.

I think i am going to roll the chassis up on its side so i can clean up the bottom plate. I got some ceramic chassis paint from eastwood that i would like to try out.

I got the chassis up on its side and found some more work needed and also decided to stitch weld the pans from the bottom side as well

The back edge of the bulkhead floor was gone so I am doing some welding there. I will be flipping this the other way to finish up the welding then seam sealer and chassis paint.

So are you going to the body after the metal work is done? Or are you first replumbing the brakes and such?

I think I will go to the body before I start losing too much steam. As you know there is a lot to do on the body. I would still like to find a nice rear cut of the lower part of the package tray where it bolts to the pans

Yes I need those on both sides as well as the lower part of the package tray that attaches to those. The point where those attach to the quarter are bad on mine as well and I dont believe those are avail aftermarket. If I end up buying those cross members new I will most likely just fab up the rest of what I need. Just looking for the lazy way out I guess.
