Don't forget about Randy Townsend in Perry, MI. He is a Bug Run supporter! 1-517-625-6744 He has this stuff in stock. You can avoid shipping that way.

Wolfsburg only has one sideof the floor pans in stock. I looked at mid america and they were out of the one side of 18 ga. as well - with a note stating that the manufacturer is refreshing their tooling and it will be 60 - 90 days before they start shipping them.

The rear fenders are off now. Have to pick up some tubing to weld some braces on the inside and I will be ready to pull the body. I talked to Randy today and he has the pieces I was looking for in stock so I will be making a trip to pick those up soon. His prices are very good too! Thanks for the hookup!

Hey you need a facebook page, Did you see the pic I posted of a rag in your cars color? Also I was looking at heads. The 1200 is its own engine so unless we change the pistons to 1300 we need to stay with those specific heads, they look to be between 125-150.00.

Dan:
Let me know if you are coming up to visit Randy. It's a cool place, and I NEED an excuse to go poke around there. Also, it's about a mile from here...

Ill let you know the day as soon as I know the day (Aaron?) Hey the 40hp will do the job, and I really dont have much more than a block, and crank for a 1600, Its his call. I think a 40hp would be cool just from the standpoint that there are not a lot of them out there anymore. And despite the lack of cam bearings are pretty good running motors. His has no real runout and seems to be a real stout short block. We may even be able to reuse the pistons and cylinders and just upgrade to unleaded gas heads. All he needs are heads, exhaust (I may be able to help there), and a new intake as his is cracked, and of course the usual upgrades (.009 dizzy, coil, k&n style air filter).

I actually was thinking of going tomorrow to avoid getting my new parts out in the rain. Randy said his hours are 9-5 so I figured I could get out there after work. Might have to unplug my horn on the Dodge first. I helped someone move today and my horn has now decided to go off whenever it feels like it - Christine?
