Thanks. Jason did nice work on this car. New pans, front apron, rear quarter area, removable rear-apron, fixed the rear parcel tray (which was a real mess), lots of other misc. rust repair, some initial body work, and primer. Now it is back to my house for some tinkering. Got so start finding weight to remove!

SWEET! The car is looking real good. What are the initial plans for driveline?
Why does is have a handle on the right side of the dash? ;D

Looks great! So.... what size engine and modifications are you planning. As far as weight goes - gut & swiss cheese all non essential parts & areas. What's up with the flares on the rear fenders?

Still has a handle as I have not started the weight removal yet! Initial plans are a '67 tranny, mid-mount, and a 1600. Time line is yet to be determined. Not sure on engine/tranny mods yet. Want to get out there and run with Rudy and Steve with a 1600 for a while. Initial mod to the 1600 will be dual 34 webers and a msd. Know how to hook one up? Not sure how much gut and swiss cheese I want to do. Just got done making it solid, lol. Contrary to the weight reduction plan I am thinking about running bumpers. At this moment I am leaning toward keeping the car restorable. That could all change though. Rear fenders were junk. Bought these flared ones a while ago thinking weight reduction. Don't really like them but I have them for now. Probably going to try to shorten the flare some before final paint.

How long do I have to get past my "34 PICT-3" stage? Here's a MSD schematic for a 6AL:

Looks great Bren! Have to agree about the ugly rear fenders. You know, when Moto Guzzi was racing motorcycles, they would not even paint them...they just primed them. Saved about two pounds. Easiest way to save weight...keep me out of it! Dave

How long do I have to get past my "34 PICT-3" stage? Quite a while. I will be very surprised if this car sees the track this year.
