Hahaha. Yeah the new top gear they raced a new 911 against a bug dropped from a mile by a helicopter, but first they raced them on a track. Of course they didn't do a race start with the bug against the porsche because it would have looked impressive for a second hahaha.

We have seen almost everything out on the track. Full size 4 door 4X4's, Conversion Vans, Snowmobiles, Jr. dragsters, 70's Cadillacs. You name it and people will run it! We have even seen 21 second VW Bugs out there ;D And stock Buses  |

I would suspect that the only way to get a class at the Bug Runs would be to have overwhelming participation, including some weekly events

That is an impressive run Dustin!
The best run my 72 Super made was a 19.7737. Your time is close to what the 68 would run at 1630 lb. with generator etc functioning.

Thanks Rudy I was pretty impressed with it. I stripped some weight from the car since the run so I wanna get back at it. I lost 35 pounds in the front bumper. 30 in the rear bumper. And 7 by going to a fiberglass decklid.
