Goodvolks Dune Day September 25, 2010

enjoyed meeting a few of you today. heres a couple pics i took
didn't take too many cause i was too busy playin. lol.

day one didn't start off to good for us. anyone that knows where this was taken can see why. danny, you know i can't resist putting this up. lol

so at camp for some grey goose and monsters and oj friday night, we found out if you toss an empty monster can on a fire with the top sealed shut they blow up. much amusement


the campground we stayed at was called jellystone with a yogi bear type theme to it. here we are hanging with yogi


day 2
weather all week had been calling for clear skies and mid 60's. we got there around 9:30am and it was barely touching 50. plus many ominous clouds in the sky. saw this right after we parked

unfortunatly the weather never got much better and most of the time we were there it was misting or raining and never really getting over 50 and super windy. the view for quite awhile




so at this point, around 12:30ish i think and not seeing the weather improve much we decided to pack up early and head home

I just wanted to say that we had a blast with all of you!! Even though the weather was a little nasty!
Bren Thanks for the Great Ride and for not completely scaring the crap out of me
Marie and Robin- Thanks for giving us a seat to keep dry and an umbrella but most of all your good company and fellowship! It is always nice to hang out with the ladies
Pikeman- Thanks for taking my husband out with you on the dunes... I know that he loved it, even when you had to rescue bren for running out of Gas lol Also for the great conversation and getting to know you! Addy sure liked you and she loves to give smiles they are always free and plenty
Robin and Mike- It was great to hang out with you as always and Thanks for the yummy goodies I hope everyone kept as warm as can be and had a good time!
AJ- Thanks for going with us and everything else you did, hope it was a great first time on the dunes for you!

Oh yeah and Thanks to all for helping keeping Addy entertained and for keeping and eye on her when we were busy or up on the dunes!!! What a great group of club member and friends we have! Wish that we could have spent a little more time with Patrick and Cori but it looked like they had a lot of fun too!!! See you all next time

The hotel found my keys!

I had a good time saturday. I met some new people, and look forward to when we can do this again. Went out sunday and it was great weather and lots of fun. Glad to hear everyone had fun, and I look forward to seeing you all in the future.

Came over and said hey to a few people Saturday...that had to be the worst sand duning weather I've ever been in and I've been going up there about 40 years...nasty early saturday. You guys have some nice rides. My son took a ride in "pure adrenaline", that V8 powered monster...he was geeked for about 2 days....I said hey if we sold the house we could....crazy people with crazy money. I went one time around and went back tothe cottage for coffee...my son road all day. It was fun, though. thanks you guys.
