Do a google search for Appletree automotive. It is right across the street. Silver Lake state park. There is also a silver lake state park campground. That normally comes up when you do mapquest. It is in the same town but not next to the dunes.

Small change in our plans. Marie and I are going to stay the night Saturday night. Staying at the Comfort Inn in Hart, MI. Rates come down this time of year.
Definitely looking forward to this trip!

Buddy Josh and his wife and 2 kids, and Cori and I, will all be staying at the Dunes Waterfront Resort, Thursday night, and Friday night, and will be around for most of the day Saturday.

For those going that are not taking dune vehicles.... How do you want to coordinate this?
There is a parking lot next to the dune lot for passenger vehicles. From there you can walk up the dunes at the fence seperating the pedestrian area from the vehicle area. We found that to be the best place to drop off and pick up passengers. Much quicker than going into the dune lot and back out through the entry lane to the dunes.
How many people are going that will not be taking dune vehicles?

i would love to go, but I have no paddles. Anybody got a set of wide 5 paddles I could beg,borrow,or steal?
