Thanks!
The carpet for the front floor was from Mid America. The rear compartment and the area under the tractor seats came from Lowe's. It is indoor/outdoor carpet that comes in a 6 ft wide roll. You buy it by the foot--total cost was about $20. It was relatively easy to form around the wheel housing (the carpet is thin with a slight rubber back). I used spray adhesive (3M Super 77) to hold it in place.

I finally order the drop spindles for my car. What's it been--a year or so since I thought of it? Also, I am going to repaint the car this spring--the gray areas will be painted a low gloss black. I tested this new combo on some speed shapes (the current two-tone is on the right, the proposed one is on the left):

Bill, your car looks sweet. Thanks again for the bumper pics you sent. I've decided to go bumperless, but I enjoyed checking out your before / during / current build pics. Were both local, hopefully we'll run into each other this summer..

Put the bug run's on your lists! Might be a little more that 2 hours but well worth it. Not sure how far Fort Wayne is from you but their show is real nice.
Bill: I think you will enjoy the drop spindles. Changes the stance without killing the ride. I like the black, seems to really set off the orange; more than the gray.

Thanks, Bren. I found a low gloss black that should look really sharp. It does give the orange a stronger look. I can't wait to install the drop spindles. Don't know why I've waited so long to do it, but Rome was not built in a day.

I do not have a pic of the drop spindles installed--I will post it after I get the car back together. As you can see, I am finally getting around to painting it. I just applied two coats of the low gloss black (Valspar Tractor and Implement Enamel, of course!). Can't wait to pull the masking off to see the color contrast with the orange.
