No not flats, but I will probably end up sanding it down some to even it out. I have a camera now and will be posting some pics as soon as I get a chance, sorta hard with trying to do house work.

Ah, I asked because when using spray paints Flats seem to work better and look sweet.

I would have bought flat if the colors I wanted were available in it, I agree they look better when spray painting. So instead I will sand it down. I was thinking of spraying a clear flat or semi gloss possibly.

So I did compression tests on the five engines I have and finaly the last one came up 130-135. Its a single port, 1300-1600. There are no numbers stamped on it. I is leaking at the #2 cylinder and block though, so I have to risk pulling a stud to fix it, yeah. So I will go through it and put new seals on it and then put it on the chassis. Could have been worse.

Frustrated by engine issues, I didnt realize I left duct tape over one exhaust port and tried to re-check compression and ran into issues with the flywheel, its actualy 6v, not 12 and my new torque tool wont take it off, but the starter spun it before and now just strips it. Also sold my judson, mixed feelings on that still. Realy wanted to run it but dont think it was in the budget. Its going to the Netherlands. On a good note I now should have enough money to fund this project and make sure its drivable. ;D Besides I still have my Allstate wood box trailer.

Sorry to hear about the engine troubles but at least you have some money towards your project now. I hope I see it this season

Alright, no pics just yet. But I am in process of tearing down a ball joint beam to narrow. Once its tore down I will take pics of the build of it.
I brought my un-numbered single port to another Harsh winters club member, Dean today. And used his torque tool to temorarily swap out to a 12v flyweel and do a compression test. Tested out pretty good, between 128 and 134psi. So cool I have good engine.
Which leaves me to be able to order some stuff from CIP1, I will just have to post some pics of this order, just wait. Till its here mums the word.

I got the rear drums on, that was a pita. Also been cleaning engine tins of 40 plus years of grease and grime. Gonna get the drop plates in today. I was going to wait to post these once they were mounted with tires on the chassis, but couldnt wait. Probably gonna exchange 3 out as they have tons of tiny scratches on the faces. Yeah fun.
