Sorry to hear about you dad, I'm sure it's hard working without him. But as in all things we must get on with our projects lest they rust away. I'm sure he'll be jazzed when he sees your progress. The bug looks awsome and Im sure it will be a looker. I'm hoping it's drivable by spring so you can enjoy the fruits of you labor.

Thanks, part of it is I want to be able to go pick him up in it, and either go for a ride, or go to shows with it. Actualy the trailer will be perfect for putting his wheel chair in. ;D

dont think so, the frame is currently hanging from my rafters, the wheel/arm is under my work bench and wood is resting against the wall.

I had two at one point. I had kept a eye out for about 3-4 years, and found one on the side of the road, and bought it. About a month later I found another in better condition, so I bought it also. Then traded off the first. Wierd how that works.

Worked late last night, got home and my parts I ordered had arrived. Seat tracks, big logo hub caps, a rear drum, parts to mount up my pop outs, misc rubber pieces, and a torque tool for putting one those drums and fly wheel. Still waiting for my oval dash to arrive.
