Very nice. So, is this going to be street legal and run on the road too?

This will be street legal. With all the OEM equipment, I have luxuries my rail did not have, like a horn button on the steering wheel, electric wipers, and self canceling turn signals. I am a little concerned my 33's won't fit under the fenders, though.

well, my poor ole' sportster sat outside today while I sprayed primer on the fenders. I also fixed a frozen up wiper motor, and sandblasted the windshield frame. sandblasting outside this time of year is great- you are all covered up,not sweaty,so the sand does not stick, hat keeps sand out of hair and ears.

I am block sanding the fenders. Choosing to paint flat fenders gloss black was a poor choice on my part-mighty tough to make em look good. Did I mention I hate bodywork?

I am really looking forward to seeing the Sportster someday!
I recommend LED. I like how instant they are and how much brighter they are. Do a search on ebay for LED taillights, you will find lots of options. Or, you can use stock early style bug lights and put LED bulbs in them.
