German Gathering at Gilmore's II

That would be great. We had a fun time. It was my wifes first time there and she couldn't believe all the rare cars they have on hand. We will be there again.

We had a good time and would like to meet up there again next summer. Might be good to put a weekend between Gilmore and the Charity show though instead of back to back if possible.

I don't want the date of the Charity show changed again and I stand pretty firm on that. We need to have the date set in stone and the same every year so as it grows everyone knows when to expect its going to happen. I think we can handle 2 shows in a row.

From the 2010 club business meeting:

· South haven show; date, location, leaders.
o Target mid to late June for this show (26th?)
o Glen to lead event.
o Need someone to volunteer to co-lead
o Need fewer shirts, more of the lg and xlg this year.
o Continue to do the tickets for prizes.
o Ask for all members to help with getting prizes for the drawing.

· Gilmore All German show, date, leaders, changes?, how to promote and get word to other German clubs.
o Continue this event!
o Kenn to run.
o July 16th date set.

I was under the understanding that Gilmore was set and the South Haven show had to change . I myself would prefer the 2nd weekend of July set in stone for the South Haven Show .
I have not set anything up with Village Market yet . It would be so cool if we as a club work this out and everyone be happy .
Question is there a charge for or to get into Gilmore ? if so does that $ go to Gilmore or does it get donated like our car show ?

Not trying to cause a problem here or anything. We had a club meeting. All were invited. The scheduling of these two events was discussed. Above was what was decided/suggested.

Part of the discussion was that Gilmore was putting us on the club day for now. We had to work with that date. So it was suggested to do the charity show in mid to late June.


If the German show takes off would Gilmore give us our own date? Could this show become as big as the mad dog and englishman show? If so I wonder what date they would give us. I guess we can worry about that when the time comes.

Yes it was discussed and I was 100% against changing the date as was Glen if I remember right.

I recall the discussion being about not wanting the events to take place on adjacent weekends. Really does not matter to me, I will be at both whenever they are!
