If Gilmore is up to change pending if they like /dislike turn out , I think at this point we need to set up a poll and have all club members vote on the South Haven Car Show date , keep it or move it . Can a higher ranking member other than myself help with poll ?

The factor you guys are not talking about is US131. The GoodVolks show moved the first time because of US131's schedule. It seems important to me that we would compliment their events, not compete with them. My $.02 is that we'd leave Gilmore as-is, since it is farther along, pick one of the June dates and set it in stone from now on and let US131 know that that is when it will ALWAYS be. The Bug Run (s) can then be scheduled however it seems best to the track. The US131 website says the 2011 schedule is coming soon. I wonder if there are tenentive Bug Run dates already?  ?? |

All I am trying to do is communicate , I have always herd that communication help resolve issue's .

I have been in contact with US131, gave them all vw event dates I could find. I will let you know when the bug run dates are set.

If we move the South Haven show date to late June then this has to be the final time there is a date change! Continuing to change the date will assure this will never make it past 30-50 car turnouts. We need to have a date people can count on just like every other VW show we attend. We know pretty much exactly when their going to take place. I don't want the German Gathering to go away either, sorry if I have been sounding one sided on that matter.

Well been without power since early Monday morning, just got it back before noon today. Gilmores is indeed open 9 to 6pm. We will be in the same area as last year, should have a tent(wedding) for shade, according to the forecast 88 and partically cloudy. Do we want to picinic as we did last year? What is on the menu? Ideas Please! 8 bucks to get in.
