No problem. Glad to help where I can. Now we just need more people to sign up and join us. Would be cool to have 10+ cars driving together all the way to Effingham!

Yep that would be awesome but it also gets pretty nerve racking for the lead car! Need to make sure everyone is watching out for everyone. Maybe find a new lead car so my dad can relax for once.

I think we need a cool yellow ghia out front. Easy to see that bright color. Maybe that car would even have GPS!
We will need to work out a system for communication, especially since not everyone has cell phones. Maybe a radio between the first and last car would work.

Well I could lead yes I do have tom-tom and my wife just picked up some walkies. I don't drive fast like Kenn and John H. I just drive at my pace. So I want no screaming like are we there yet.

Nice picture AJ who took that? ;D Or just have some one that knows where they are going lead on the places where it isn't just straight shots. Or lead car and person that knows where they are going have radios in between them.

I know for a fact that if you turn off the planned route with tom-tom the little person starts screaming at you until it re-plans the route. I have to verify with wifey but I think you can plan your own route of how you want to get to your destination. I don't really care who leads.
I also just registered for FunFest.
I have just spoke with Leanne my wife and she is not really interested in going so I have been cut free from my leash only for that weekend. So their is a spare seat in the Ghia. Please note I love my music and will be jamming all the way there.

I'm going!! I need to call in reservations and such. I'll bring my gps harmon (wilma) but still unsureat this point if I'll be able to talk the wife into it. Guess it depends how crazy life is at that time.
