:)I just called the hotel and they do have rooms available. They said it would be 51.00 plus tax. On their website it gave the price of 62.00. Is that for sure where we will be staying? Hopefully our old girl can make it down and back up.  John in Plainwell |

You might not be the only one with a kid going in the group. There are activities to keep kids busy down there. How old is he/she?

He'll be 15 months in nov. but thinks he's 5. By then he'll me almost two so maybe he will make the trip.

Great, They have hot wheels car races and face paint as well as a movie room for kids to stay entertained.

I just called the Super 8 directly. Rate is $45.95 plus tax. Ask for the coupon rate and reserve with a credit card.
The person I spoke with mentioned that they offer a group rate. He is going to talk to his manager about a group rate for us! He said it could be as low at $40 plus tax. I told him that our club has been coming there for 10 years and we only stay at the Effingham Super 8. I will post the details as soon as I hear back from them. I will try to make sure that current reservations by club members can be converted to the lower group rate. It might just pay to be loyal. ;D (there are still rooms available.)

I have not reserved a room yet I think I may be going alone. Leanne does not seem that interested. Plus I don't own a credit card but I do have an ATM/Debt card from my checking account is that acceptable?

We reserved 3 rooms for my parents, Dan/Carlos/Jerry/Me, And one for John. If you are coming along you may be able to room with John.

OK, here is the deal.
If you call in and tell them you are with THE Good Volks you will get the rate of $45.95 plus tax. Once The Good Volks has 10 rooms reserved we will all get the group rate of $40.95.
Right now we have a total of 6 rooms reserved, 3 for the Fishers, 1 for the Wilburs, 1 for the Dunns and one for the Hartmans. All of the 6 rooms above have been revised to the $45.95 rate!
So, 4 more, come on, join us! Can't beat this rate! Can't beat this show. It is great fun!
