I called the track today to see what safety equipment would be required for running the rail down the track. The answer was kind of vague (sp?). However, she did say they want to see everyone in long sleeves, long pants, and closed toe shoes. If you run a 13.9 or quicker 1/4 mile a helmet is required. Slower cars helmet is 'recommended'. I am going to buy arm restraints and burrow a helmet just to be sure I can run. Might not need either.

I'd say probably in the 19's ;D. Oh, when? We will start right after the business meeting and we will announce when we are going to gather time slips before we start. The end time is adjustable to compensate for how available track time is and how long the business meeting takes. I'm hoping for around 2:30pm for the gathering of time slips

I don't know. I really want too. I just broke my accelerator cable last night and now I need a replacement. There is still a lot of welding to do. If things align in perfect harmony and the VW Gods smile on me there may be a chance. Its just to close to call.
If all else fails I still have the Ghia that I can run down the track.
