Drive flange seals were too wide? You mean the plugs that press into the center to seal the splines from the CV joints? I haven't seen that issue before. What seals did you use?

Not the center 'plugs' these are the drive flange seals I also installed the 181 axles & CV's

Oh, those. I remember there being two different thicknesses offered. The deep ones can be driven in until it bottoms on the outer race of the bearing. I know that's what my transmission used. Not sure if the bores in the side plates were different between the two types of seals or not. I can see the deep ones being to thick if the side plate for the shallow seals has a step in it...but I haven't seen any that have a step in them, so I don't know.

Metric to american brake line fittings? local FLAPS sez no such animals everybody tells me to just flair the line and install the fitting,if their copper or aluminum NO problem,, but I have issues with steel,, ,, found these CNC fittings @ D&R buggy,,, yepper 'Perfect app.' Just need to tidy up a bit and re-install the motor

Test drive: dirt road ::)Trans shifts great half throttle (needs sorted) only 8 pounds of boost , good to drive after all these months

Boost junky. Bet it felt good to get the project back out even though you only have 8lbs of boost more than the "average" folk. Lol
