I was talking to my buddy Ray Covey down in Arkansas a few weeks ago,, seem he's right, I washed down the rings from to much fuel pressure regulator set to high and dropped the floats sidedraft DCOE smart guy on turbo stuff,, no more drip out the Aux vents :)tid bit: a few years ago,he was at a well know turbo racer shop a little north of him(some of u know him) his buddy wanted this guys 'Turbo' cam,, so the builder ask him Big or small motor?? he said small 2 liter,, he took a cam off the shelve,, ground the number off it an charge the guy 140 bucks of something stupid for a FK8 (checked) as for the big one fk10 I'm still going with a DCOE on the 1915 this time with a T3 turbo and going to try Clintons old 4 barrel Holley on the 2276 w/T04 Boost is addicting!! probably gonna sell all my N/A stuff

Installed the new Rockers yesterday and helped Matt build some much needed shelves in the Garage Also drilled some front shocks to drain the oil out, This will transfer the weight to the slicks when it launches testing come 'spring'

I alway thought I had a 'Red' Holley fuel Pump on this car turns out it's a 'Black' now wunder I had fuel issues swapped the spring out of the red one I had and 'presto' 3 1/2 lbs instead of 7 lbs and no fuel blowing pass the needle&seat/ dripin out the stacks and hopefully no more cracked cylinders

Mike:
When you talk about cracked cylinders, are you talking about hydroshocking the actual cylinders?
Hope not! I have seen this happen with Corvettes a couple of times, where the car went through a deep puddle and large amounts of water splashed over the radiator directly into the air cleaner.
Water then went into the cylinder, and damaged, or broke the connecting rods. Not pretty!

Header arrived un-coated sent it back to get ceramic applied drive flanged seals were too wide took a bit of trimming with a cut off wheel . trans is done will install today also installing the staging brake too hard to hold back on the line with just a E-brake, feathering clutch to 'pre-load the 4 puck gets hot 'expands' then even harder to hold back ,I ran new brake line along side the org. so the next owner can just eliminate the staging brake and return to 'stock'
