6 rib 091 stronger and easier to find, but more $ to change gears. I have a stock 091 in the DC, used bell housing from late 3 rib so I can use self supporting autostick starter. You pull 70 at about 2500 give or take.

Hey Rick,I have a 5 rib just sitting here So how does the D.cab handle the hills?(Loaded)???anything done to the motor or just stock 1600? any extra oil cooler? My new mudflaps & 'Kooks",Maybe people will quit asking "What Year is IT" 5 rib should work fine, DC bogs a little on big hills. Bone stock 1600. Cool mudflaps where did you get them?
