Camping.. who does it ?

Well HOWDY peeps ! It's been quite a while since my last post but that jus means I have PLENTY of thangs to chat about !
First and MOST impressive is that I took a 2,571 mile ROAD TRIP from SoCal to Portland,Oregon and back !!! Took 12 days... and I towed the Puck the whole way !
Started out with 3 of us as we traveled North for the 14th annual Treffin run from Portland,Oregon to Oxnard,California. There's only ONE way to do this trip and that is to START from here and go to Portland and then BACK South to Sunny Cal.
I brought a 2& 1/2 gal. gas can along... and it was INSUFFICIENT ! Next time it'll be a FIVE gal. can !
The bug towed the Puck just FINE and we drove into Mammoth,California... Mt.Hood and Crater Lake( In Oregon)
The cruise on Hwy 1 was exhiliarating, fascinating, frightening,furrious,twisting,turning,crowded(at times),but mostly it was AMAZING !
The new Hot VWs magazine has sum pics of the Treffin Run and me and the car are in one of the pics at the Portland Raceway on the morning of departure.
At one point on the trip, we had 45 VWs in the caravan !
Drive em like ya stole em people !!!
