Thanks Ray and Rudy. I will certainly take you up on your offers. Rudy, I am going to need good security at Jason's. Look what Santa snuck into Steve's car on Christmas morning!

Bren:
Given the extraordinary lengths some of the GoodVolks members are going to "enhance" your drag bug, I'm suddenly worried. What happens if I get knocked out, tied up, and put behind you from seat?
(Other than the fact the 45 pounds in Steve's bug is like a feather compared to me...and you will go really slow?)
I know these guys....I'm worried.

I'm thinking I may need to hire security and put in metal detectors.

Bren:
You know, if you had Bull $hit detecters, it might make it safe for me...I mean, the alarm going off every time someone tried to stash me in the back of the Drag Bug...
By the way, is there an official name yet, now that it's becomming beautiful?

Dave, I don't think you have to worry about anyone knocking you out, or tieing you up. You are such a helpful guy that nobody would do that or even stash you behing the seat.
Bren, You don't have a locking trunk do you?
;D

I started with stock cases ;D ,,,, But build a 200+ HP. 2332cc that will last 5 years of Racing without an issue!!!! then,,,, It's a great Bug Bren is building ,Just seems to me it deserves a bigger power plant then Just a little O'l 1600cc ;D ;D ;D I've kind of went that route before when my son raced MX on 125 cc when all the other bikes were 450cc and HE spanked them!! I don't kare what kind of racing it is,It's all about Power to Weight ratio !!! and who has the bigger wallet ;D ;D ;D in some cases

When all this '1600 drag racing' talk started the idea was to try to get people into coming racing with us. We wanted to keep it cheap so more people would be willing and able to join us. Most of the racing we will do is bracket racing. Don't have to be fast, just consistent.
