Hey Dub Boi,
Welcome! It would be great to see you at the Test and Tune. Running your car will maximize the fun, but you can alway come to spectate and hang out, if you'd prefer.

I would give my spot for him to be in the parade. I will still be there and just catch a ride with someone else.

My dad cannot be in the parade now, He worked until 10pm today and has to work tomorrow. Dub Boi can take his place if he wants to be in.

All,
I tuned up my car last week and last night I did a test drive, and everything seemed fine. This morning I drove up to Zeeland with John in Plainwell. When we lined up for parade and started moving slowly, my car died. It was flooded again like at the last GTG meeting. After the parade, every body came back to the spot where I was parked. All brought their tool bags and started diagnosing the problem. AJ spotted that the carborator was missing an idler screw. Glen went back to his westfilla and brought back a bag full of misc parts, and dug around looking for a correct screw . Glen and AJ found a screw and nuts that fit and put it into the missing location. it worked!!
I missed the excitement of the parade but I enjoyed the club members actions. It was amazing to see that they can do anything on the spot.
Thanks again to those who helped.
John and we, Michele and I, enjoyed driving back roads to and from Zeeland. I always drove 75 ~80 mph on the highway, but after getting a VW, I discovered back roads and appreciate nice scenary and farm land.

Glad you made it home ok Aki, It was nice hanging out with everyone and getting some dinner afterwards. We will get that Ghia running smooth for you.
