This looks great! I hope my 68 looks half as nice when it's done and buffed.

Have had a problem with the gas pedal sticking and not returning to proper idle position. Did this last year on the first drive, to the fall bug run. Thought I fixed it with a stock throttle linkage rebuild kit at the pedal. Was sticking again on the drive to Ypsi. Did a bunch of searching and found this solution: Really nice piece. Nice price too unfortunately. But, it feels so much better than stock. www.buttysbits.com

Looks like I have been a little lax on posting updates.... Was not happy with the hose barb, hose, and clamp set up for my remote oil filter. Was not ready to spend $ on AN fittings and lines. I found hydraulic lines with swivel fittings at Family Farm and Home. They worked perfect. Very heavy duty. Check it out:

I put this 75amp alternator on the bus from the start. Recently had problem with pulley coming loose. Discovered the backside of the pulley and the spacer under that had worn away. Caused the pulley to rub on the alternator face. I added a washer and that wore away also. Vendor is sending out a replacement spacer. In the mean time I bought another alternator from NAPA to get me by as we were going camping this past weekend in the bus. Here is what the failed parts look like: That spacer just plain mushroomed over. Must not be a properly hardened piece. Hopefully the replacement is better, if not I will have to get one made.

Went camping this past weekend in Frankfort, MI. 4 hour drive each way. Bus ran great. Couple minor issues but what else is new. Half way home a lady yelled over to us at an intersection asking if we knew our brake lights were not working.... Nope, had no idea. Really glad she told us! Pulled over and could not find a solution. So, solution was, use the running lights as brake lights. Seemed to work, plus being on back roads with no traffic really helped!

Well mine appears to be failed brake light switches. Both were very wet at the wire terminal end and dry where they thread into the m/c. Got new ones at Stub's last night.
