Anyone besides me going to Bug-A-Palooza? I too have have a need to go to Bug-a-Palooza. Where are you located and are you planning on driving a VW? Maybe we can cruise together or meet up somewhere. |

Well now I am debating on whether or not about staying the night in Indiana. I still have to attend Bug-a-Palooza. So what are your plans? Only attending one show? Which one? For the Fort Wayne show are we traveling as a group? Is the starting location the same Burger King? Are we traveling as a group to the Bug-a-Palooza? Whats the starting point for the Bug-a-Palooza? My Bus has 4 extra seats for anyone for any of the shows. |

I'm planning on attending the Fort Wayne show, and would like to meet some other GoodVoks in Marshall I-69 and I-94. Dorothy comes back on Sunday from Blue Lake, so the Harsh Windters show is out for me.
Anybody else interested in caravanning?

In the passed we met at the Burger King in Battle Creek right off of 94.
Any starting location works for me. I too want to caravan with other it just seems safer that way. Plus it looks really cool when a line of VW's travel down the road together.
Should we have a starting point near where 94 and 69 come together to make it easy for everyone? Or start at the Burger King and meet up with others near 94 and 69?

Time:
7:00am-7:15am Saturday August 21, 2010
We will leave at 7:30am
Route:
I94 East to I69 South
Approx 96 miles 1.5 Hours drive time
We should arrive 9:00am ish when registration opens
Travel speed will be 60-65 mph
Dave: If we leave at 7:30am we should be hitting the I94/I69 Interchange at about 7:40am/7:45am PM me your cell number just in-case
I will be driving the Bus and so far it has 3 seats left. If you want a ride let me know.

I94 West to I80 West
Approx 140 miles 2.5 Hours drive time
We should arrive 9:00am ish Chicago Time when registration opens
Travel speed will be 60-65 mph
Warning I80 is a Toll Road change will be needed!
I will be driving the Bus and so far it has 3 seats left. If you want a ride let me know.
If anyone has any special requests (ex. rest stops, better route, joining us on the way) Let me know.

Thanks for coordinating this AJ. It always seems to make things go easier with a plan.
Who has fliers that is going to these shows? Bug run is next weekend and this is a good opportunity to promote to many VW owners!
