Here it it on flat ground. The front is dropped 6" and it has no tire rub at all. The plan is for 7" in front. Now does the rear need to be dropped 1" or 2"? Or should I leave it as is?

I like it. Good balanced stance. I would only lower the rear if the gap between the tire top and fender looks too big in person. In the photo it looks good.

I like it just the way it is, but in general I like a slightly nose-down stance, and seeing as much tire on the top as on the bottom.
If you drop the front another inch, I'd say drop the rear an inch or two to keep the front and back tire profiles looking about the same.

I agree with Ed and Bren. Looks great. Give it a try like it is and see how you like the stance. I would be a bit worried that you would have to join the curb scuffers club if you go much further ;D Well done. Love the way the Empi's sit in the wheel wells.

Not much of an update. The disk kit and drop spindles are now on. Time to have happy camper help me with a front end alignment.

Dont do 2 notches in rear or you will be way lower in the rear...
One notch would be just perfect for your bug!!!!!!!!
