If your only going to drop it a couple inches an adjustable beam may not ride that bad and if you can add the adjusters yourself it would be alot cheaper. Just a thought. How low are you wanting to go?

I need to drop it about 6" It looks like I will have to go with drop spindles, Narrow beam and adjusters. As I love to drive it a lot. I don't want to screw up the steering as I like the way it drives.
The exhaust has been changed......maybe not for the better. I had to do some thing to get to the show on Sunday. So I welded on a Flowmaster to get me there. I hope to tuck it into the rear fender in the near future to hide it.

Very nice, Looking forward to hackin up another one. ;D Not really, Steve was smart to wait. When we finish his beam with the shortening, and the adjusters, I think we will only have two welds on the beams. Because I was indecisive, and we were starting from scratch, mine has eight! I would much rather have the hacked up beam on mine and be sure Steve has the good one.

Here it is stock. (The rear tire is just leaning up against the one that is on the car so I could see if I liked the looks of them) Here it is with a 6" drop. Here it is with a 9" drop.

I like the 9" drop. Love the 8 spoke look too.

The 6" drop looks good, but I like the 9" drop. Some butt time in the driver seat will tell you which one you like! ;D

I like the 9" drop too...but do your tires rub your fender? If not, 9". If they rub, 6 inch. I personally find extreme low ride cars, bugs and pickup trucks silly. If you can't drive them down a city street without scraping something, why do it?
I like the spokes as well. Alloy whees and stock steel wheels scream "snowtires" to me.

8 spokes look good but you need to get some 135's or 145's on the front so you don't rub

WOW! I like it. Well done. Fronts clear OK? How much did you drop the rears? You are definitely going to need drop spindles. I bet the 9" drop is sitting on the bottom. Very cool.

Yes I am going to have to go with drop spindles. I still need to drop the rear about 1". The tires do rub at 9" and it is all the way down. We (Happy Camper and I) ;D will have to set it as low as I can without tire rub.
I'm still up it the air about what wheels to get. The 8 spoke are starting to grow on me.

Good choice. I think the drops will at least give you a bit of suspension. Have you driven it yet? How stiff is the ride? Least expensive solution: buy the drops for the drum brakes, and roll the Empi 8's. Next best: buy the disk conversion with the drops and roll the Empi 8's Then buy new wheels later if you like. My $.02 That and $1.25 may get you a small coffee somewhere.
