Patrick - The paint looks fantastic; what a transformation on that Driver's door! Your reflection in the door is a true reflection of your talent. ;D I'm glad you decided only to post close-up pics; it has added to the excitement. A little like being on the show "Overhauling" with Chip Foose. I may have to bring a defibrillator to keep my wifes heart in sync when she sees the car! She is extremely excited after seeing the pictures! I'm having fun teasing her about her giddy anticipation. Thanks! I think she will be happy! It's getting close! Looking good Patrick so when do we start on my Limo? Thanks! You've got a lot of work to do before you'll need me. You have to source a base project car, then, extra doors, extra pan/chassis, etc., etc. ;D How soon do you want to get rolling? Or should I say, how soon do you have to have it?

I'm very grateful that Brian and Meg trusted me and gave me the opportunity to work on their Ghia. Thanks for being such great "VW people"! There was never a question in my mind that you were the right man for the job. When we first discussed you doing body work and paint on the Ghia, you were genuinely excited about doing it. You don't get that at a Body Shop!! After talking to you and seeing Blu, I knew you took great care and pride in your work. It means a lot to me to have a fellow VW enthusiast take care of our car. I think I told you of the history, but I hadn't posted it: Meg's father owned a Beetle, and later a Thing; which he used to teach Meg how to drive. She has fond memories from high school years cruising around in her friends Ghia. I bought the '67 Ghia for Meg several years ago when we were engaged and hid it in the garage. I surprised her with the Ghia on Valentines day. When trying to decide on a color, her father told her to keep it red; he passed away shortly after. 1967 is Meg's birth year. Meg's dream came true with that beautiful paint job you did. The work you did on the Ghia is great; it looks FANTASTIC!! That metallic really "pops" in the sunlight. Meg an I are grateful to you for making her dream come true. To top it all off, we met two great people in you and Cori. Meg and I enjoyed spending a little time with you two on Saturday. Meg will be more likely to spend time at the car show knowing Cori may be there! Thanks again Patrick!

A few more pics: She is a beauty to behold (thanks again Patrick): Patrick, Meg, and Cori (great job on the license plate light housing): Patrick and I swapping wheels/tires for the tow home: It looks like the tow bar is winning, but we prevailed: I'm not sure if these rays are from the Sun, the metallic in the paint, or Patrick's smile: who's got their nose in my tailpipe??!!: Stopping on the way home for a photo-shoot: Home at last: Re-installed antenna, mirror, and re-upholstered seats: Side trim on repaired front passenger quarter panel (well done Patrick!): Rear deck lid (with Cori's art work!):
