Made 4 passes. Last pass I was smelling gas in the staging lane but could see nothing. Must have been OK since they let me run. At the end smell was stronger. Went back to the 'pit' and found fuel leaking bad. Thought it was hose clamps. Turned out to be the fuel line moved and was rubbing against the edge of the fan. Wore right through. I was done for the night.
Steve (teamafx) and his son were there. Couple guys from my work running their cars too. Also saw Ron Perkins out there. He was spectating. He mentioned a couple other guys getting ready to run and we should all try to meet up at a future test and tune. Looking forward to it Ron.

Wish I had known thats why you didn't run again, I had about 2 feet of fuel line in my car you could have used. Still had a lot of fun. My son loved it too.
Next one is on August 4th

What is preventing it from running? Nothing preventing it just other stuff is a little more important right now. Getting ready to go to Yellowstone(Aug. 6th to 19th) on vacation with Karen and Grandkids(older two), bought a new pop-up camper and got the van out and running(been stored for 8 years). Ruffuss hasn't been on top of the to do list. When I get back it sure will be! Have fun, I'll TRY! to make up to watch you guys. No promises though. Kenn |
