My plans might be changing now. If I can't get the carbs to work right I won't be going. Right now the left one is just dumping fuel.

Me too. Spun a rod bearing, so I've got some motor work to do instead of going to this one

Sorry to hear that Rudy. Sounds worse than my problem. Maybe we can be ready for the next one.

Who is going? I am going this time. I would prefer to go with someone. I will get home by 5, change, load up and head out. I am guessing I will be there by 7, maybe a little earlier.
Let me know. -Bren

Thanks for coming out tonight Steve (teamafx). I had a blast.
Here is a video Steve took of me on my last run. It was against a mustang. I pitted next to him, nice guy. Last run he pulled up next to me. The whole run I could not see him until he pulled past me at the very end. I was actually faster than him but he beat me at the tree. Listen to the crowd at the end. I think I am addicted to drag racing!

OK, give use the facts! Looks like the video timer starts the run at 27 sec and the board lights up at 42. You ran in the 15's??? WOW! What was the weight on the scale. Tell us more!

Yes, I averaged 15 second runs (when I did not stall it or red light). Car weighs 1430 with me and a full tank of gas. I was pleasantly surprised that the front end stayed on the ground too. (MadMike says that just means I was not running it hard enough.) Next time I will see what I can do in that department. This is definitely a 1/8 mile car. Only gained about 11mph in the second 1/8th mile. I will post more photo/video later and more time slip stuff.
-Bren The '64 might not be staying on the back burner for long. I am thinking the 2110 might just need to go in there.

Me in a sea of Mopars: 3rd Pass. Bogged it off the light. Red light, rolled right through it. Should have used the turning brake as a staging brake. Too nerved up to think about it at the moment. Much better reaction time ;D Steve thought so too! ;D Best time was the last pass against the Mustang. 14.5927 at 83.74. 1/8th mile I was around 9.3 in the beginning and got it down to 8.9 by the end of the evening. Typical 1/8th mile mph was 73.3. Wed. July 28 is the next Test and Tune! Got to get my carbs dialed back in. On the last pass with the mustang something went out of tune. Started popping and not wanting to idle.

Well poop! I was planning on it, but I put an elec pump on the 68 and managed to break the fuel line in the tunnel. Don't know if I'll have time to fix plus the chance of rain is good (my history with rain at 131 isn't good).
I'm planning on 8/4/10!

I am going to remain prepared to go. Looks like the rain should stop around 5. I will call to make sure they are running before heading out.
