Hey Dustin, Looks like the GTG at the HFM is a Go ! Just a note that the H F Museum closes at 5:00 pm and not 6:00 pm as scheduled, slight oversight. Also, can the MVVC use the Reservation Numbers to get the Discount Rate or should we get separate reservations ? Have reservations been made for Richter's Chalet, and if so, what time ? Much Appreciated !...Please let me know if I can be of any assistance with this GTG. typ3nut

I would think the MVVC could use our discount no problem. I have not yet made the reservation for the restaurant but will soon.

Our reservation for HFM is for 15+ so the more the merrier, use our discout (please) Ill let someone else set up the reservation for the resturant as I will not be attending that part of the event (daughter has a puppet dinner thingie I need to be at, if I dont go Im in BIG trouble). So; Ill probably get to the museum early Im thinking 10'ish and leave at like 4pm. Where and at what time do we all want to meet?? The tix are at the clock tower, just ask when you get in tell em you are with the goodvolks and show the tix person our discount code. As for the Frankenmuth bug b day thing. I have been contacted numerous times by a gent in town about this. I gave him the clubs contact info and Im sure he has contacted Dustin by now. I think it would be a blast and we would probably make the Frankenmuth paper front page, I even made it once with the barn 356 (nice memento). It should be a very busy and fun year Im thinking.

Just talked with Tom S. from the MVVC and he said we should be having a good turnout for the Henry Ford Museum GTG, Volkswagen members from MVVC, Toledo VW Club, not-a-vw-club, others, approx. 25+ on this side of the State. How many approx. from the GoodVolks ? Should be a Great Time !...Don't forget your camera !

Three of the Dunn's won't be there, not sure if Dad plans on going or not. Addison just had surgery. We probably won't be at the next three month's meetings, but we will see.

For those who have never been to the HFM or haven't been in a long time, they have a wonderful vehicle exhibit, beautiful VW displays with a Camper, Beetle and Meyers Manx. The newer airplane exhibit is also amazing but the Allegheny Train is one of my favorite pieces and they just made it available to board, the thing is Huge !...I-MAX Theater much, much more ! Lots to look at and Enjoy !...Bring your walking shoe !

What is the status of reservations at the restaurant? Do we need to do that still?
Our normal monthly attendance seems to be around 25 or so. How many Goodvolks plan to attend this gathering at the Henry Ford then out to eat afterwards? Sounds like a good time. Very cool to have other clubs joining us!
