Merry Christmas Everyone We had a great time, and got home without incident. I used mapquest to get directions to the Roadhouse, and for once, they were right. Have not always been so lucky.  I hadnt mentioned the Effingham show to the wife, thinking she would never go for it, but when heard about it last night, she said, that sounds like fun ;D I will start working on reservations Till next time, and speaking of that..I have a few places in mind for Jan GTG in Lansing, will start making phone calls this week. Again, have a safe and happy Holiday everyone, see ya next year  |

Wish I could of made the Party,But I had quite an ordeal getting those 40 webers from Kevin (wife car brokedown in Ind.) i'm back home now with some nice Seats off 'the samba' and real Italian Webers ;D I will try and make the lansing meet if I can pay off the credit card >:(Madmike

Glad everyone had a good time and to Dan we are always happy to have new people come out and make new friends. We have alot of really good people in this Club and we do not discriminate.

Glad you made it home alright those 40's sound like a nice thing to have! I wish I had a motor worthy of such carbs

Hope you can make it to Effingham this year man its a good time and my favorite show of the year. Its the one cant miss show that I would never miss. I know what you mean about that stupid mapquest usually it takes a few turnarounds following those directions glad it worked out for you.

Thanks guys it was worth the drive over to see everyone. Although the weather wasn't great it was still an easy ride home. I welded a quick patch on Johns 66 before we left battle creek and made it home late but it was alot of fun.
