Do we just wrap gifts without a tag, or is there a certain way that things need to be done. I am excited to finally have some time for the VW hobby.

I've always thought of a white elephant as a joke gift you find around your house

Thats one definition Kevin, There are many out there.
Chris, I guess wrap it without a tag. Next time we need to have womens and mens gifts I had a ton of time and still didn't plan this 100% right.

Can I assume it would be one present per attendee. IE if the wife comes I need two presents Yes?

Oh, thanks for clarifying that Dan. I was assuming one gift per family. Time to find another one!

Do the women bring gifts for women, and vise versa.

Thats how it should have been done Jerry but I failed to think this through fully. I guess it can be done that way and we will see what happens. My mom is planning on bringing a womans gift I think.

Hi guys... At other VW club Christmas parties that we've attended, the "white elephant" gift was gift-wrapped and could be a joke gift, an old VW part from your garage, a model VW, a tee-shirt with a VW theme, a VW book or a couple of magazines...use your imagine! That's the fun... Some people will get something nice, and some people will get a greasy, broken old part... That's my 2=cents worth... Susan

I like greasy parts I have a garage full of them. I think would call my self a collector of greasy parts. I promise my gift is not greasy.

My wife will give the "nice gift" that I would myself want. I will bring the "gag vw" gift that will still look good on anyones shelf (or car) but my wife would go BLeck if she got (hint... try and hit my wife up for the present, mine is for more of someone who shocases cool old stuff). Dan
