I finished gluing the headliner today. The original headliner helped me know how to trim the liner. I'll keep the OG headlinerr and misc vinyl coverings as a patern for future use. Please let me know if you need them.
I replaced most of the original bow end caps with new 1/8" vacuum line rubber caps. I used 3M Tac Glue in tube which was recommended by the body shop pro. I used 2 tubes (I bought 3 ). I also used alot of paper clips to hold the liner in position. It is nice to have the original headliner to copy the shapes around the rear hatch door hinges and door post areas. I'll use hair dryer to remove wrinkles in a few days. I've already installed a few glasses with my wife's help. I'll glue the rubber seat stand cover tomorrow. If I have a time, I'll install rear and midle bench seats. The headliner installation was one of the critical milestones for the 77 bus restration project.

Thanks for your encouragements. The next step is to remove wrinkles using a heat gun or a hiar dryer. I may do this step after all windows installed. Mean time I'll clean up bench seats.

Looks great Aki
I know that the rear hinge covers are not available but are your old ones paintable? It just does not look good against the new white headliner.

AJ, I purchased plastic paint primer and enamel paint which is close to the original color. I'll paint the original hinge cover. Michele does not like the original color.

Looks pretty good. I know if I tried it there would be glue fingerprints all over it.

When I was in Florida a few weeks ago, I ordered to fabricate a full size roof rack for my 77 bus. Yesterday I received the call from David Perry from Clearwater, Fl. My roof rack is ready for pick up. I found him in Samba. I think this is the best looking roof rack. Now I need to pick it up.
