Kenn,
I've been finding it hard to get the motivation to go out there and get things done. Then we were thinking we better finish the Baja then move to my sisters Bug. Well we decided as a family that the Baja is first and instead of a traditional Christmas we are ordering parts for the Baja and only doing a couple small gifts for eachother. I am excited about this and my dad seems to be ready for it as well so thats good. I am sure I will call you guys over to help us out.

Yeah Dustin lead by example, lets see some progress pics. The car looks nice too Bren, good work. If your not careful your going to make this car too nice and not want to drive the beige car anymore.

I'll have to snap some pics and get a new project thread started for the Baja. I spent time out in the garage today tweaking on my GTI and finally putting the all season tires on as well as raising the coilovers up an inch. I wish I still had the S10 so I wouldn't have to drive the GTI.
Now all Bren needs to do is get some dropped spindles. Maybe Bren needs to ask Santa to bring him some.

I agree, drop spindles would help the look. I guess I am just too cheap right now. If anyone sees any real cheap let me know.

Bren, right now cip1 has them for 189.95. I just ordered some stuff today for my car and they sent me a code for 15 percent off, that drops them down to roughly 161.46, your more than welcome to use the code if you'd like. Just let me know, it needs to be used by Dec. 31 and I won't use it this year.

Thanks Jerry. More than I was hoping to spend though.

I spent $235 on mine last spring for the Ghia but I needed the caliper mounting holes for disk brakes. So $139 sounds like a good buy.

Hmmm, Lowering and Baja don't really go together.

I thought about that but then it starts getting expensive to raise the rear to match. Those things can be done anytime right now it needs to get done and on the road not snowball more.
