Hey there this is Al from michigan city.. met steve when I bought a 36hp motor for my 57 panel a few weeks ago and he told me about the site. Well finally got it running now and seems to be a totally descent motor. Really appreciate it dude! Was also out at the holland show in my 60 panel and met a few other nice folks out there. Anyways later on.

Ya I'm glad the motor worked out too as I didn't really feel like rebuilding one, so we'll see how many miles I can get out of this one. There was a mouse skeleton under the fan shroud I will try and get pictures up sometime here but I have to leave town for a bit. Its def. a project. Got the 57 in montana and had it shipped back here. Its been off the road since the late 60's. I've been working on it like crazy lately and wanted to drive it out to the ypsi show but I can't make it out there.

Ya it was nice to meet you too brendon. Ya brians collection of bd parts/buses is neat stuff. Can't say you see that much old stuff together at one time or at all really. I'll hit you all up if I'm up there , might be making a trip up to u.p. sometime in the next month or so. it needs some work still...

I think it would be cool if I got a bay window panel but I can't seem to figure out what to do with the inside. I thought about turning it into a super private camper but with out windows to open I thought it would get hot inside. If I had a VW business it would be a cool logo parts hauler.
Do you have any plans for the inside?

No plans really for the inside, just keep it stock. I'd like to find a cab divider panel though. I also had to source a front seat for it and got lucky and found the correct one. I would post some more pictures of it but I can't seem to find my cord for my camera

I would shag the whole inside with a wrap around bench and a bar. HA, that would be sweet. JK. I have seen where some guys cut and hinge the side of the bus and make shelves. It looks pretty cool, but I do not see the reason for it.
