Hello all I too am from Kalamazoo MI. I have been on other forums before but I am new to this one. I am very happy to see a forum that takes place near my neck of the woods. I am excited to get to know everyone and I hope to have fun.

Welcome to The GoodVolks A.J.
We usually have our GTG's around Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Holland, Fennville, and Allegan area's. We like to give everyone a chance to suggest a meeting place. Now lets see some pictures of that Ghia project of your's.

Hello to all Sorry but I currently I drive a 1993 Chevy Truck because project Ghia is not quite done yet hopefully soon about 2 months it should be road worthy but never finished. I accually live near the boarder of Kalamazoo and Oshtemo or the west side of Kalamazoo. Give me a few or a quick hint to figure out posting pictures and I will post my most current pictures. This weekend I can post my custom interior job after I finish up the little details.

ruffuss I think I saw you and your thing driving on West Main heading west a few months back. You do know that I live near 9th street in Oshtemo. You should stop by sometime so we can check out each others cars.

LOL...my wife doesn't seem to find my vw adventures and stories very interesting either, Ghiastein. Everytime I start telling her about how my quarter panel repair is coming along, she offers to tell me about her scrap booking project Nice Ghia btw...I'll look for the story...always fun to hear.

Yeah, my wife although pretty understanding doesn't give a rip about my VW's she just wants to know how much is it going to cost and where do I plan on getting it from. Aside from Ruffuss I have a 65 notch, a 62 bug vert, a 54 baby window with a three fold, and a couple of rails, all stored in the barn along with a 64 Impala convert(409) and a 49 Chevy deluxe cab. And she thinks I have too many projects. Ruffuss is now just about complete, may be time to get started on something else. Later Kenn
