does anybody have pictures of some silver and or chrome brm 4 spoke rims? Looking to put new shoes on the bug. Can't decide between chrome or silver. It is hard to tell what the silver looks like on the pic in cip1.com. If you have anything let me know. Also, when they get here I will be selling the empi wide 5's to anyone who needs them.

I have adapters on the 4 bolt right now. I am trying to find some decent rims for the 4 bolt so they will tuck in the front like they use to. The adapters push the wheel out farther than I want them to be. The BRM's come in 5.5 and 4.5 so if I wen t wide on the rear and thin in the front it will tuck.

What about the black ones? Maybe chrome is too much.

I like the gray ones myself but the Chrome would probably look pretty sick too.

Do any of you know where I can buy the gray ones at? CIP1 has black and chrome and silver. I want to run 4.5 in the front and 5.5 in the rear. I have searched all the places I know but nothing. I found a set of 5" wide gray but do not know if I need to run a spacer in the rear. Let me know what you think. Will the spacer bring the wheel out further? I have no idea. I just don't want the rear to look like they are tucking like the front. I am running 195/55 on back and 145/65 on front.

Thanks, you are a life saver. HA. I just spoke to vintagevw from Harsh winters and he thinks the rear tire will be to low of a profile. He mentioned the rpm's would be to high and that I should go with a 195/65. I have a pair of these but was wondering what you guys thought as well. Do you think it will be to low in the rear with a 195/55?
