Have you checked the end play? I had a flywheel come loose and throw oil everywhere. However, I also had lot's of noise with it. Breather box should really help. Typically they come with thin hose that is junk. Might need to go get some better thicker walled stuff so it does not pinch itself closed.

Glad to here you made it home ok. I still think the breather box is the solution as it seemed that the oil was only on the upper half of the motor and that the vent tube was kinked from the beginning. The only question is if there is any reason you have excessive exhuast buildup (pressure) in the motor due to blowby for any reason... Im thinkin the box is the main gig and a great addition no matter what. But make sure you redo the oil fill (should never be as loose as to spin like yours did) and while your at it Id do a compression test for the halibut. Its a sweet car and after you get past this little challenge youll be closer to the veh as you have now fixed an "issue" (man triumphs over car and all that )

George, glad to hear you made it home OK!! and without blowing her sky high! Also did you check you're oil cooler O-rings. Are you now able to detect where your oil leak is coming from?? Let us know when you find the problem. Later Kenn
