a square/fast back class 11 would be very cool, & easy cuz you can lift the front by rotating the arms. curt Exactly! And, think of all the room you would have to store stuff! Throw a roof rack on it with a spare tire or two, and some gas cans, you could drive through the desert for days! |

I'll attempt to remember the order:
1) '69 Beetle - while technically my Dad's, I came home from the hospital in it, learned to drive in it, did stupid things in it. Dad still drives it. He is the original owner.
2) '75 beetle - 1st and only (completed) restoration. '94-'97
3) '67 beetle - $550 college graduation present. Currently under restoration '95 to present
4) Real Myers Manx - $200 never ran '96-'97
5) Manx copy - I towed it from Colorado to Louisiana. That was an experience '96-'97
5) '67 parts bug '96
7) '69 ghia '96
8) '74 Thing - OEM green '96-'03 Sold it to buy '70 ghia.
9) '69 bug - '98
10) '67 Mercedes 200D - Hey, it's German. '98-'08
11) '70 Ghia convertible - Just sold. I miss it already '03-'09
12) '78 Westy - '04-'05
I'm down to 1 bug now. That's just not right. Maybe next year I'll add a Thing or a Westy.

wow this tread got me thinking and relizing that I have had a few
first vw 89 sicrocco first car
2nd 90 golf ... plain jane
first air cooled 77 squash blossom westie
71 super #1 gene berg cruiser
71 super #2 winter beater
59 dd panel never got it on the road:(
86 westie in camo, swapped the interior in to the riv and resold
79 bay rivieria my current daily driver
77 dasher current project (not started yet) looking for the right motor
oh yeah I still own a bus in colorado 77 bay red and white W/good 2.0 and gas heater for sale on thesamba
pretty sure thats all of em'. I have only owned 4 non vw's and I hated them.
