Dustin , Well its like this , Today I got my house heating gas tank refilled . As the guy was packing up I asked if he has seen any old VWs in his travels ? After a bit he said "Yes . But could not recall off the top of his head " So I gave him a club card with my name & number on the back and asked him to give me a call IF he comes across any .

Its called networking. ;D Just gotta know who to ask. Or drive all over to hell and back like I do. Though the bus I found was rotted out, like most.

I see, I have had people tell me about VW's when they see mine but none are usually good deals everyone wants to make a buck. I know of a guy I need to track down again to join the Club. I was at the Ice Cream shop with my Girlfriend a couple years ago and he asked if the yellow Bug was mine. When I replied yes he took a picture out of his wallet with 7 VW's lined up and said some were his some were his sons. I recognized a couple and wonder where they are now.

Update , I called back last night and talked to the guy about the bus , due to his work load he didn't have time to BS but he did say that the bus has not moved in a long time and it will still be there when he gets back on this side of the state then he'll hook me up .

66's are the hardest to convert to 12 volt, i guess you can read that as more expensive.
