My basement is taking on water at the rate of about 10 gallons per hour. Coming in under the walls. Anyone recommend a good waterproofing service / method?

Ed, Try Ayers Basement services 1-866-379-1669, or B-Dry 1-800-237-2379, or Everdry 1-800-343-2037 and then Great Lakes Waterproofing 269-343-1956. Hope it helps I know what a problem it can be. Later Kenn

Thanks. I've called several of those guys.
Have you used any of them?

Ed, yeah use to use them all when I was doing building maintenance, Great Lake seemed to be the fastest and easiest to work with. Do you know the source of water run in?, clogged gutters? slope to the building? spring run-off? A lot of times the ground around the base of the house is thawed and outer ground froze, water always takes the easiest route aka. basement wall. Hope this helps, later Kenn

Good point Kenn. He might be able to stop or slow the water just by fixing downspouts or regrading.

Thanks. A co-worker recomended great lakes also.
Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it. Guess I won't get a new car for a few more years.
As far as I can tell the water table level is higher than my basement right now. It is coming in every wall.

Any idea where the water is coming from? Are you in a flood zone?

This is happening to my neighbor right now also. I wonder if something is up with the water-table across the region. They just started getting fresh apparently perfectly clean water coming in through every tiny crack. And the ninnies who poured their basement didn't slant it towards the drain, so the drain & sump-pump they have turns out be be almost useless.
