Just to let everyone know my TV broke. It is also the screen for my computer. So in the mean time bare with me if I don't reply to messages or browse the forum. This means that I can only go online at work and when my wife lets me use her laptop (which hates me).

Man that sucks, You should be able to find a used computer monitor at a computer shop for a decent price.

Well we dropped of the TV at a repair shop and paid the $75 deposit.
On Friday March 27 we found out that the power supply was bad. It was going to cost us $160 to get the TV fixed. Well there was a message on the phone yesterday. Finally I get my TV back. So I call them this morning ready to pick up my TV after work.
They say there are some issues.
It turns out that when the power supply was installed they found that the Main Board is bad now. My TV has not be made for sometime now and the Main Board has been on back order for ever. So they say that the cost of the board is around $250 plus the install, plus the back order wait, and plus the $160 from before. Now we are looking at $500 to $600 just to get my TV fixed.
I said NO they are going to dispose of my TV and all that I am out is just the $75.
So still no TV until we can save up for my new super TV.

AJ, I also have a monitor you can have just come pick it up. Also have a TV you can borrow until you get your super set. Later Kenn

Everything is still ok. We still have the little 13" in the bedroom and I am using Leanne's Labtop in the mean time. Leanne and I still have not discussed what we want to do yet. Plus this way I have more time for VW stuff. Thanks everyone we will see what happens after talking with the wife.
