I have had a few people ask me about the Drink and Swap that would take place before the Michigan Buggy Builders Show. The Cal-Look guys had started this a few years back and since I was local (in the Lansing Area) I kind of took it over. Last year was kind a a bust so I was thinking about scrapping the idea this year until I had seen the turn out at the last GTG meeting. So my question is how many people here would be interested in something like this?

This might have to be one of the things I pass on this year. Probably going to have to watch the spending closely for a while. Not the best time to be in the automotive industry....

I might tag along too but what is the Drink and Swap? Is it a Pre-Swap Meet for VW buddies so we can score cool parts before they go on sale?

I'd like to, but will be all coffeed up by the time we get to Lansing and am going in early to help some friends that are selling.
I'm assuming this is a pre event activity since its Drink and Swap rather than Swap and Drink. True?

Night before, I probaly not be there then. I'd be up for breakfast before the actual show/swap but can't see driving an hour and 15 to not drink or swap. Sorry misunderstood, breakfast anyone??? Later Kenn

Well since I didn't get to much response on a drink in swap I have decided to not host it this year. If some of you still want to meet some place for some drinks that would be fine. How ever I did chat with some of the local Lansing club and they are talking about having a get together after the show. This will happen at The Nut House right across the street from the Lansing Center. We will meet there at 2:00pm. How does this sound?

Haha we went to the Nuthouse last year after the show, Sounds good to me but I am not sure if we will be out by 2 since we have a booth this year.
