What do you guys think of these hub caps? I was thinking of something different and you don't see these on street cars. They are normally for a baja, but I seen them on a lowered car awhile ago on the samba and they looked pretty good. They won't completely fill the center of a wide five og rim, but pretty close. jerry

Here's a thought what about sandblasting them and painting them body color. It may look good with the black rims.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, but I think I would have a hard time matching the paint.

I like them, particularly the contrast of black and chrome.

It would be a unique look for sure. You could spray the drums with chrome paint to cover the gap area. Removing the hubcap clips would add to the clean / unique look in my opinion.

I think the key is leaving them chrome, and using chrome lugnuts, that is what gives the cool reflections on the cap. CIP has chrome lugs.
What color rims are you going to use. I had thought about doing this a while back, would sure be cheaper than chrome raders. Cant wait to see it.

Are the studs bolts on a 67' 12mm or 14mm? I think they are 12.
