Hi from Warren, MI! Need some help finishing up complete restore. Need driver/passenger windows installed, all side panels & one seat upholstered and engine work. Just moved here from PA and need help?

Unfortunetly the Facebook page really killed off these forums. Look up the goodvolks on Facebook, lots of trafic on there.

Wasn't only the facebook page. It had something to do with people not wanting to get involved, just like with the club itself. They get what they need and disappear.

I've often wondered if Facebook is actually the reason people don't get together as often. I have found with me, the more I spend online, the less I actually do. I can see where a certain amount of "accomplishment" is felt by virtually doing stuff, and not really doing stuff. It does greatly increase our exposure and accelerate our learning curve, but we all become internet experts and don't fail by doing. We use to have to really struggle and fail a number of times before we found the right way and mastered something, now, we just Youtube a new task and pretty much see where the failure points are. I know I have to consciously avoid being on forums too much, and I don't even go to the main area of FB. I contacted some of the members here and wanted to meet up, but I still haven't. Shame on me.
